I mean, you can totally just stalk your friends houses! You could say, "yeah, that shingle type tool toooootallly does NOT work for your neighborhood type!"
I don't know if people actually talk like that. If you know someone who does, I'm sorry for you.
Actually, the google earth app is another one of my favorites on my iPod touch. Sometimes I just cruise around the city, and I can learn cool things I didn't know about Seattle along the way! (I guess if I learned it I wouldnt have know it before...)
You get the option of having Wikipedia articles of significant places on the earth appear on the screen while you're browsing. I love Wikipedia...
